# Switching from another system

Already running your business on Towbook or another dispatch product? You don't have to start from zero - TowConnect imports your existing **jobs, clients, invoices and vehicles**, keeps your original job numbers, and an import can be undone if anything looks off. Anything you have used since is named and kept.

## How it works

1. Export your data from your current system (CSV or Excel - we also read raw database dumps).
2. Send the files to us or your account contact - we run them through the import engine, which matches duplicates, checks every total, and shows a preview before anything is committed.
3. Review the preview together, commit, and you're running on TowConnect with your whole history intact.

> Imports are staged and can be undone - anything you have used since is named and kept, so trying TowConnect never puts your data at risk.

- Jobs with dates, addresses, vehicles, statuses, prices and your original job numbers
- Clients and B2B accounts (with duplicate matching so you don't end up with two of anyone)
- Invoices and payment status
- Trucks and drivers
