TowConnect vs Towline

Both run tows. One runs the paperwork.

Jobs, drivers, invoices and a portal - both carry those. The statutory registers, the accident fee caps, the storage clock and a free migration are TowConnect's side of the table, and year one costs less than their cheapest plan - from year two their entry plan is cheaper, and ours stays one price for everything.

Our side of the table

Why operators pick TowConnect.

The registers are built in
The inspector asks for 24 July; you print the page for 24 July. Four NSW approved forms, written from jobs you already logged.
Every price checked against the cap
Type a figure above your state's cap and it says so before the customer sees it. NSW, VIC, QLD and WA, dated to the gazette.
The yard keeps its own clock
Storage accrues itself every night, the letters come off the record, and release has a paper trail.
No setup fee, nothing per login
Nothing to start, and no charge per office login, driver, truck or yard. One price buys the whole product.
Your old data, moved free
Six years of jobs come across checked to the cent, keeping their numbers, and one click undoes the whole import.
Your own database
Every business gets its own isolated database and its own address. Your data is never mixed with anyone else's.

What a year costs

No setup fee is where year one is decided.

Towline charges $550 to set up, on every paid plan, and tiers by how many office logins you need. TowConnect has one price, and nothing to set up. Towline figures exclude GST as printed on their page.

Their trial is 30 days and ours is 14 - with your old data moved across inside it, so the first week is a real test of your real jobs.

The other way round

What Towline carries that we have not built.

MYOB and Moneyworks accounting
We sync with Xero today. MYOB is on our roadmap and exists for us only as an import format.
Fatigue management on the timeclock
We have a shift clock and pre-start checks, not fatigue management.
RCTI driver commissions
We do not calculate driver commissions.
Form designer for dockets and letters
Our document layouts are fixed. You can edit every email template.
A 30 day free trial
Ours is shorter, and we move your old data across inside it, so the first week is a real test of your real jobs.

The questions people ask before they switch

What is the difference between TowConnect and Towline?+

Both run jobs, drivers, invoicing and a customer portal. Towline adds MYOB accounting, driver commissions and a form designer. TowConnect adds Australian regulatory work: statutory register forms, accident fee caps for four states, and the accident lifecycle when a job is one.

Does Towline generate Australian statutory tow truck registers?+

Their features and pricing pages did not mention statutory registers when we read them on 18 August 2026. TowConnect generates the four New South Wales approved forms from work already logged, with page numbers that restart each year and never move, and prints a whole week in one PDF.

How much does Towline cost compared with TowConnect?+

Towline publishes $149 to $249 a month excluding GST, plus a $550 setup fee on every paid plan. TowConnect is $249 a month with no setup fee, which is $2,244 against $2,338 in year one.

Can I move my data from another towing system to TowConnect?+

Yes, and we do it for you at no charge. Send an export, a spreadsheet or your raw database file. Jobs keep their numbers, clients arrive without duplicates, invoices keep their payment status, everything is checked to the cent, and any import can be undone in one click - undo removes exactly what that import created, and the work you have done since stays.

Every statement about Towline on this page describes what their own published pricing and features pages said on 18 August 2026, quoted excluding GST as printed there. Prices change; if theirs have moved since, their page is the authority. Towline is not affiliated with TowConnect. If something here is out of date or wrong, tell us at hello@towconnect.co and we will correct it.

Bring your data across and see for yourself.

Send us an export, a spreadsheet or your raw database. We do the migration, and you can undo it in one click.
