In plain words
- The business data you enter is yours. You can export it at any time and ask us to delete the workspace.
- The trial needs no card. When it ends, or a payment fails, the workspace pauses. Nothing is deleted for 180 days, and you get a complete export before anything ever is.
- You are billed in advance at the price shown when you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time.
- Connect Google, Xero or a payment provider and we exchange your data with it on your instruction; you can disconnect whenever you like.
- Do not use it to break the law or to harm the service; we will tell you if we ever have to suspend a workspace.
The terms below are the full version and are the ones that apply.
These terms govern your use of TowConnect, business-management software for towing and roadside operators. By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to them on behalf of your business.
Your workspace and your data
- You own the business data you enter. We claim no rights over it beyond what's needed to run the service for you.
- You can export your data at any time, and you can ask us to delete your workspace.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the data you store and for having the right to store it (for example, your clients' contact details).
- Keep your sign-in credentials secure; you're responsible for activity in your workspace by users you've authorised.
Subscriptions and billing
- New workspaces start with a free trial - no card required. When the trial ends, the workspace pauses; nothing is deleted. A workspace that stays paused or closes is kept for 180 days from that day; before we delete it, we email you and send a complete export of your data. Statutory registers can carry retention duties that outlive a subscription: once the workspace is deleted, that export is your continuing record - keep it.
- Paid plans are billed in advance at the prices shown when you subscribe. Promotional pricing converts to the standard price when the promotional period ends - we'll remind you before that happens.
- You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Connected services
TowConnect can connect to third-party services on your instruction - for example Google (email sending), Xero (accounting sync) and payment providers such as Stripe. By connecting one, you authorise us to exchange your workspace's data with that service as described in our Privacy Policy, and your use of the service itself remains governed by its own terms. You can disconnect at any time from within your workspace. We're responsible for our side of the exchange, not for the third-party service.
Acceptable use
Don't use TowConnect to break the law, to send spam, to store content you have no right to store, or to probe or disrupt the service. We may suspend workspaces that put the platform or other customers at risk, and we'll tell you if we do.
Service and support
We work hard to keep TowConnect fast and available, and we back up data regularly - but the service is provided "as is" and no software is perfect. To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law and any consumer guarantees that apply in your country, none of which are excluded), our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is significant we'll notify workspace owners by email before it takes effect; continued use after that is acceptance of the updated terms.
