Payments, pauses and leaving
Your workspace pauses. It stays readable for 30 days.
The card bounces on a Friday. Nothing changes that day: we email you, and you have 7 days to fix it. Only after that does the workspace go read-only: you still sign in, read and export your records and release vehicles from the yard. What stops is new work. If it is still unpaid 30 days after that, the workspace locks: you can sign in only to pay or to print your registers. Pay and it reopens itself, from either state.
While it is read-only, your statutory registers stay printable.
Everything you put in comes back out.
Close a monthly workspace from your own billing page, once your account is settled. Nothing further is charged and there is no exit fee. A yearly term runs to the end of the year you have paid for. Jobs, clients, accounts, invoices, storage, trucks and drivers export as CSV, every photo and letter comes out in one zip, and invoices, dockets, letters and receipts export as PDF. You print your statutory registers from the Registers page.
The refund and cancellation policy says what a close waits for and what is refunded.
Questions about price
How much does TowConnect cost?
Plans run $97 to $449 a month, with no setup fee and nothing charged per truck or per login. Each plan publishes what it is built for, 300 to 3,000 jobs a month. Go over your plan's jobs 2 months in a row and we move you up one plan, with 14 days' notice. New workspaces get 14 days free, no card, then $1 a month for 3 months.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee and no onboarding charge. A monthly plan has no minimum term; a yearly term runs to the end of the year you have paid for. Moving your existing jobs, clients and invoices across is included: send us an export, a spreadsheet or your raw database, and we do the migration for you.
Do you charge per truck, per driver or per user?
No. Every plan covers as many drivers, trucks, holding yards and office logins as you have. What a plan sets is the monthly volume, 300 to 3,000 jobs a month. Go over your plan's jobs 2 months in a row and we move you up one plan, with 14 days' notice. Photos are not metered either; each job takes up to 100 photos.
Is it cheaper to pay for a year?
Yes. A year takes 10% off twelve months, which is over a month free. Professional works out at $3,208 a year instead of $3,564 a year. Switch between monthly and yearly from your own billing page; $1 a month for your first 3 months is billed monthly first.
Can my plan's price go up?
Not without notice. A rise in the price of a plan you already pay for applies no sooner than 30 days after we email you, and you may close your workspace before it does. A reduction applies as soon as it is published. Go over your plan's jobs 2 months in a row and we move you up one plan, with 14 days' notice.
What happens if my payment fails?
We reattempt the card after 1 and 3 days, and we email you each time an attempt fails. After 7 days the workspace goes read-only, not dark: you still sign in, read and export your records, print your statutory registers and release vehicles from the yard. After a further 30 days with the amount still outstanding, the workspace locks: you can sign in only to pay or print registers. Paying reopens it from either state.
Can I cancel, and what happens to my data?
Close a monthly workspace from your own billing page, once any unpaid charge, payment, card entry or refund has settled. Nothing further is charged and there is no exit fee. A yearly term runs to the end of the year you have paid for; pause instead and the whole months left are credited, never refunded. Everything exports as CSV or PDF except your statutory registers, which you print from the Registers page.
What does the first year cost?
Including the promotional months, twelve months of Professional comes to $2,676, billed monthly.
